FURNITURE WITH A DIFFERENCE

ZANTANA CREATION furniture is more than just wood. Zantana furniture tells a story of beauty, attention to detail, and a simple elegance that cannot be found in today’s mass produced furniture. Our furniture is handcrafted from Oregon hardwoods including, oak, quarter sawn white oak, elm, cherry, black walnut and maple. We can reproduce and replicate antiques and family heirlooms from simple drawings and/or pictures.

What makes Zantana Creation built pieces of furniture different than the rest? Most of the credit must be given to the fact that we harvest, dry and sort our own lumber. This plays a key role in the success of creating quality pieces of furniture.

Our furniture is handcrafted utilizing hand tools and old-fashioned construction methods. Traditional dovetailing, mortise and tenon joints, as well as wooden pegs, are used throughout offering strength, beauty and integrity. Hand tooling and natural finishing provides a unique lasting beauty to each piece. You can see and feel a difference.

In the store, our furniture and accessories are in the 'Arts & Crafts' style, focused on clean lines, quality workmanship and natural materials. We believe that there is no one true Arts and Crafts style, but many interpretations which include Mission, Traditional and Country styles, Shaker and Prairie designs.

As a customer, you are invited to become involved in every aspect of your furniture's creation. You may choose the species of wood, color of stain, and style of hardware for your particular piece. This level of personal involvement ensures a unique creation that perfectly suits your taste and needs.

Another part of our business is Furniture Restoration and repair

Being in the business of building furniture with the old techniques and finishes we are able to take that knowledge and bring

your antique or contempory furniture back to life.

We will replicate pieces that are missing for the repair - We will also take a table that is missing its leaves and rebuild them.

Rockers and Chair are a main item that gets repaired in our shop. We will re-make rocker bottoms or take a wobbly chair

and make it stong again.

Our Goals
  • To maintain the highest quality standards for our products.
  • To provide the best customer service possible.
  • To  promote an inclusive workplace and help the community.
  • To have a Christian based business where God is in charge.

Our business was founded in 2004 and we finally were able to open the store in 2007. As we decided to "go public" with our Antique Store and open our Hardwood Studio. Response was immediately overwhelming. We have customers who just come in to see what Homer is working on next. His pieces are unique and one of a kind.
